Gorgeous Glorious Gold Wedges Go With Everything

It's such a shame that gold doesn't go with every outfit in our closets. It's such a glamorous, sexy color. It does go with just about everything though. Of course, some people think you can't wear gold shoes with jeans, but that is patently untrue. Gold wedge shoes look great with just about everything, including jeans (and even some shorts *gasp* - yeah, I went there.)

I spend a lot of time shopping for shoes, as I may have mentioned a thousand times in this blog about shoes, this puts me in a unique position of looking at pictures of shoes and clothing all day. Yeah, rough job right? As I sift through picture after picture, I can spend most of the time daydreaming about what goes with what. I'll give you an example. Today I got a catalog in the mail. Not one pair of wedges in the entire catalog, in fact only 3 pair of shoes are featured (odd right?). The whole time I was looking at outfits, I was thinking about how cute they would be with this wedge, or that wedge. See I'm obsessed. In a good way, though! (okay, I may have a problem, I admit it.) Back to the catalog and shoes...And oh how many of them would look so cute with gold wedges.

I'm particularly interested in how gold wedge heels would look fabulous with bridesmaid dresses. A lot of brides are choosing red, black and navy as their colors and gold is the perfect accent for all of them. Gold is a very glamorous color, which makes it the perfect addition to a wedding. Especially if the theme is old Hollywood glamor. PS: Have you seen gold shoes with pink, white, green and gold (gold on gold? Yeah, I went there too!) - awesome. Seriously, awesome.

So why wedge shoes and not just high heels? Well, if you have to do any walking whatsoever, you'll thank me later. Wedges support the arch of your foot. They have a wide heel style to not sink into grass (unlike stilettos). You don't have to worry about a heel breaking off. And best of all, they're sexy and c-o-m-f-o-r-t-a-b-l-e! There are many formal places, besides a wedding, where gold shoes are lovely. I mean, if it's good enough for the Hollywood red carpet, it's great for things like proms, balls and other formal events.
